Mr. V’s Books

Novels by Edward Hoornaert

Science fiction is my first love as a reader, but at heart I’m a romantic (I married my high school sweetheart and am still happily married) and it seems love and romance always creep in somewhere.

And because I view the cosmos with ironic eyes, humor’s there, too.

Science Fiction Romance:

  • The Alien Contact for Idiots series
  • Repelling the Invasion series
    • The Guardian Angel of Farflung Station — The waif-like genius is the most dangerous person on Farflung Space Station. The space pirates don’t know that.
      They’re about to find out.
    • Escapee — The African Queen in outer space … with the roles reversed!
    • Constellation XXI (coming soon!) — Sienna’s unglamorous job is to guide incoming freighters to a safe docking at the space station. But when telepathic aliens with a startling secret seize her tugship, Sienna’s job is suddenly the most important in the entire galaxy.

 Science Fiction:

  • The Trilogy of Tompa Lee
    • Book 1: The Trial of Tompa Lee – Only her enemies can save her from alien injustice.
Book one in the trilogy of Tompa Lee. Originally published in hardcover, now available in eBook and trade paperback formats.
    • Book 2: The Tribulations of Tompa Lee — Goddess or Madwoman?  Even she isn’t sure.
Book two in the trilogy.  Tribulations is a standalone book that revisits many of the characters from The Trial of Tompa Lee.
    • Book 3: The Triumph of Tompa Lee — Now the prey stalks the hunter.
The thrilling conclusion to the trilogy of Tompa Lee.
  • Future Love — A spaceman wins the woman of his dreams…but it’s too late. A crook invents a new form of pornography…but it teaches him about love, not sex. A man pursues his beloved beyond death…but finds only the evil in his own heart.
  • The Midas Rush – The aliens are about to Decide whether they’re  gods … or murderers.

Contemporary Romance

Written ages ago, these books were my introduction to writing fiction. They were written under the pseudonym Judi Edwards:

Note:  Not included here are a couple of non-fiction programming books I wrote ages ago — because they aren’t novels, obviously.
