My fun thing for today is a “travel poster” for my most recent science fiction romance: Rescuing Prince Charming. I’ve done travel posters for my other books, too, based on the posters NASA/JPL created for the exoplanets they’ve discovered.

Dusty Johnson, a self-styled ordinary, everyday woman, responds with extraordinary heroism when saboteurs try to bomb the prototype of Earth’s first starship. The reason this post was late is that I’m learning my way slowly around a different graphics program. I’m not really satisfied with the lettering on this poster, but at least I managed to complete it.

Travel posters– what a clever idea! Your Prince Charming sounds intriguing.
Travel posters are particularly apropos for science fiction, I think.

It takes a bit of graphics know how and a bit of time, but I enjoy creating these things.
This is a fantastic idea. It might fun do to a travel blog for each planet–what to see and do, how to get around, foods to try, dangers to avoid. I had a map done for a PNR series, but I may actually do a travel series for my SFR series, as it will take place on several planets.
I agree, it’s a great idea for people like us who write science fiction. I give all the credit to NASA/JPL, because they inspired my travel posters.
